Aerial yoga | Mat Yoga

Strength & calm

Aerial Yoga - which is a type of yoga or stretch class that uses a suspended Hammock that aids some individuals to go deeper into stretches and poses. Within Aerial Yoga, we offer:

Aerial Yoga: Aerial Yoga blends traditional yoga postures with the support of a suspended fabric hammock, allowing for deeper stretches, spinal decompression, and enhanced balance while maintaining a focus on breath and mindfulness, creating a playful and accessible practice for all levels.

Aerial Stretch: Aerial Stretch focuses specifically on improving flexibility and range of motion using the aerial hammock, providing assisted deep stretching, targeted flexibility work, and joint decompression to increase body awareness and achieve greater mobility.

Mat Yoga - which takes place solely on the floor, focusing more on grounding and stillness. Within Mat Yoga, we offer:

Hatha Yoga: Hatha is a foundational yoga practice, focusing on basic postures (asanas) held for longer durations, combined with breathwork (pranayama) and mindfulness, providing a slower-paced introduction to yoga principles and building a solid base of strength and flexibility.

Vinyasa Yoga: Vinyasa, or "flow" yoga, links breath with movement in a dynamic sequence, creating a fluid and energetic practice that builds strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular fitness through synchronized poses and breath.

Restorative Yoga: Restorative yoga utilizes props like bolsters and blankets to support the body in passive poses held for extended periods, promoting deep relaxation, stress reduction, and the release of tension in the body and mind.

Restorative Sound Yoga: Restorative Sound Yoga combines the deeply relaxing poses of restorative yoga with the therapeutic vibrations of sound healing instruments, enhancing relaxation and promoting deeper states of calm through a multi-sensory experience.

Flexibility Yoga: Flexibility yoga emphasizes increasing range of motion and joint mobility through extended holds of stretches and poses designed to lengthen muscles, improving overall flexibility and body awareness.
